“Illustrious of Bilbao 2016” distinction

On 14 December, the Mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto, presented the awards that distinguish the five new “Illustrious people of Bilbao 2016”, an honorary prize with which the City Council wants to recognize people or entities that through their career contribute to spread and extend  the good name of the Villa.

Among them, he gives José Antonio Garrido, President of Bilbao Metropoli-30, the distinction “for his entrepreneurial career and his tireless work always thinking about the future of an ambitious Bilbao”.
