Through the Basque-Navarre Official College of Architects, we received Maite Rivera, urban architect from Chile, for an investigation into regeneration and urban renewal processes in Bilbao.

Maite Rivera is a researcher at the University of  Viña del Mar, in Chile, and directs the Europe Workshop of the School of Architecture and Design, from which they regularly go to Europe to study cities where there have been urban regeneration processes that have promoted transformations in neighborhoods. , the city and the quality of life of its inhabitants. Based on this, they are developing an investigation of case studies that can help decision-making in the context of Chile.

The Chilean researcher comments that it is a great contribution to research to delve into planning actions and strategic actions for the revitalization of Metropolitan Bilbao.
