Ulsan (South Korea)
In collaboration with Bilbao International, we receive a delegation of Ulsan (South Korea) interested in the transformation process of Metropolitan Bilbao.
The delegation is visiting Bilbao on 18 and 19 May, with its purpose being to learn from Bilbao and its renewal because it is a very similar case to Ulsan, which is experiencing the stagnation of its main industries, so it needs to reinvent itself. One of the main focal points for the city’s revitalisation and recovery is the River Taehwa, which is an example of environmental recovery. The members of the delegation consider that Bilbao’s transformation is very similar to the one they are proposing for their own city (stimulating local life using the river as its main artery).
