Strategy of the Norrbotten County (Sweden)

We received a Swedish delegation from Norrbotten County, headed by its Governor, Sven-Erik Österberg, accompanied by six mayors and technical staff.

The delegation has visited Bilbao within the framework of a fact-finding mission, with the aim of learning about the city’s transformation, and its past, present and future, as well as its strategy in innovation, as Norrbotten County is currently involved in a process of assessment and definition in this field.

The delegation’s agenda of meetings included a reception with the Mayor of Bilbao and visits to Innobasque, the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), the Bilbao Port Authority, Automotive Intelligence Center and IK4-Tekniker.
