Velatia celebrates its 50th anniversary

Velatia, a member of Bilbao Metropoli-30, is celebrating its 50^th anniversary in 2017. Over these years, it has always made an active contribution to the business fabric in Bizkaia through its commitment to industry and technological innovation.

The main event was held on 15 March, when the company’s technology and research centre on the Boroa industrial estate (Amorebieta) received a visit by HM King Felipe VI, accompanied by the Basque First Minister, the Lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, and the Leader of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, Unai Rementeria, among other dignitaries.

The Chairman of Bilbao Metropoli-30 attended on behalf of the association.
