Book “Memories of 40 years of management. José Miguel Eizaguirre”

On 18 January the Carlton Hotel hosts the launch of the book “Consorcio de Aguas del Gran Bilbao. Memorias de 40 años de Gestión” [Bilbao Bizkaia Waterboard. Memories of 40 years of management], presided over by the General Manager of the Bilbao Bizkaia Waterboard – Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia, Ricardo Barkala, and the chairman of Bilbao Metropoli-30, José Antonio Garrido, as well as by the author himself, José Miguel Eizaguirre, the waterboard’s first general manager. The author uses his own experiences and sundry documents to recount the history of the Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia.

It falls within the framework of the Association’s project “Es tiempo de profesionales” [The Age of Professionals] that deals with the strategic projects involved in the transformation of Metropolitan Bilbao and the professionals behind them. Accordingly, the Association address the technical and management aspects of the major infrastructures built across Metropolitan Bilbao, which over the past 50 years have managed to focus the world’s attention on Bilbao.
