Seoul Metropolitan Government

At the request of Bilbao International, the Bilbao Local Authority’s international mouthpiece, the director general has received a delegation from the Seoul Metropolitan Government, headed in turn by its director general, interested in learning about Bilbao’s process of transformation and our association and its mechanisms, as well as the strategy it is currently developing.

The reason for this interest is that Seoul is immersed in a process of regenerating the city’s   River Hangang, and they would like to know how Bilbao has recovered its own river estuary and about the projects involved. They consider that Bilbao’s own transformation process has some similarities with their own goals (cleaning the river and revitalising its banks through art and culture).
