50th Anniversary of the Bilbao Bizkaia Water Utility

March 17 marks the 50^th anniversary of Bilbao Bizkaia Water Utility, Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia, an ordinary member of Bilbao Metropoli-30. The Association is invited to attend the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Bilbao .

The event is held at the Azkuna Zentroa and is attended by, among others, the Consorcio’s Chairman, Ricardo Barkala, the Mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto, and the Leader of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, Unai Rementeria.

The Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia provides stable employment for around 1,300 people, and its operations have a financial impact amounting to almost 114 million euros, according to the first study the organisation has conducted on the repercussions its business has on society.
